SAAS Technical Architect, 8-14 years

Job Description Build and manage technology team and oversee solution architecture and development Define, develop and maintain the application architecture for specific business functional areas Work with engineering teams to design the components/objects/data structure of various applications Analyze and estimate feasibility, costs, time and compatibility with hardware and other programs Write documentation to describe software infrastructure and maintain changes and corrections Take up project and design reviews to evaluate that the design being applied meets requirements, principles and standards Ensure that all components of the technical architecture are properly integrated and implemented Define development tools and environment Provide technical mentorship/leadership to the engineering team Desired Skills Should have worked on at least 1 SAAS product as a Technical Architect or be involved in a large scale server side implementation as an Architect 8-14 years of experience Good knowledge on backend architectures like J2EE, LAMP and databases like MySQL, Oracle etc J2EE Enterprise Architecture certification is a big plus Experience architecting rapidly scaling multi-tier systems with expanding capacity without losing reliability Strong application design and development skills - object-oriented analysis and design techniques Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create and advise on technical solutions for various projects Ability to effectively adapt and evolve to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs Project technical leadership capabilities, design and development oversight
