Job Title: Senior Business Analyst Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Business Analyst to join our Data Analytics Project team. In this role, you will serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience in working with data analytics tools and methodologies to improve business performance and decision-making. KEY SKILLS REQUIRED - Requirements Gathering, Solution Design, Business Process Mapping, Stakeholder Management , Data Engineering concepts, Databricks, SQL, Pyspark, Datawarehouse, ETL Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives. Gather, document, and prioritize requirements for data analytics projects. Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to extract insights and trends that support business decision-making. Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and other team members to ensure data quality and accuracy. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency through data-driven insights. Propose solutions that align with business goals and enhance operational performance. Data Visualization: Develop and present clear, compelling visual reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders. Utilize tools like Power BI, Tableau, or others to create actionable insights. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between business units and the analytics team. Communicate project progress, risks, and results to senior leadership. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, project specifications, user stories, and test cases to ensure clarity and alignment across teams. Support Testing & Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by participating in testing and validation of data solutions. Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to confirm business requirements are met. Change Management: Facilitate smooth implementation of data-driven solutions by supporting change management activities and training business users on new tools and processes. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence. Recommend new tools and techniques to enhance analytics capabilities. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles. Strong understanding of data analytics concepts and tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI software. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of business processes and how data can improve them. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in writing detailed business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Trello. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. Experience working in industries such as finance, healthcare, e-commerce, or telecommunications. Familiarity with machine learning concepts and how they can be applied in a business context. Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Data Analytics (e.g., Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate). Why Join Us?
