JD for DM resource Job Title: SQL Developer (1 Year Experience) Location: Noida Job Type: [Full-time] Experience Required: 1 Year Department: Insurance Product & Platforms Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SQL Developer with 1 year of professional experience to join our data team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing queries, optimizing performance, managing databases, and supporting application development with efficient SQL solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support applications and reporting needs. Work closely with developers, data analysts, and business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability. Assist in maintaining data integrity and security across multiple databases. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Generate reports and data extracts as required by business units. Perform data validation and cleansing as part of data migration or integration projects. Collaborate in database design and normalization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 1 year of hands-on experience working with SQL databases (such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle). Strong understanding of relational database concepts. Basic experience with ETL tools or scripting (nice to have). Good problem-solving and communication skills. Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS) is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficient in writing and debugging SQL queries, joins, subqueries, views, triggers, and stored procedures. Familiar with database performance tuning techniques. Understanding of database security and backup procedures. Exposure to version control systems like Git is an advantage. Soft Skills: Attention to detail and a strong desire to learn. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication and documentation skills. Analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.
