Basic Function Sound knowledge of Basic Accounts and Finance Sound knowledge of O2C Cycle -Accounts Receivables and Cash Applications Excellent understanding of UK market including Bureau, Non-Bureau, Lloyds and London Market Essential Functions The primary responsibilities of this role include - Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using electronic point-of-sale (EPOS) systems Handle cash, credit/debit cards, vouchers, and contactless payments Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as required Maintain a tidy and organised checkout area Provide warm, professional, and courteous service to customers Monitor till discrepancies and report any irregularities Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining store presentation when needed Comply with all store policies including health & safety, data protection, and loss prevention Support opening and closing procedures, including cashing up and reporting Performance Parameters Process performance as per agreed KPIs Attendance & Schedule adherence Team objectives and accomplishment of assigned goals People mentoring and development Primary Interactions Internal Lead Assistant Manager/Manager, for the purpose of reporting performance, escalation handling, clarifying concerns, seeking support and monthly evaluation of performance Subject Matter Expert for the purpose of handling process related issues, queries and escalated transactions External Client operations team, trainers and SMEs for the purpose of reporting developing and updating training curriculum, provide feedback on training and discussing specific action plans Escalation teams at the client end for the purpose of seeking clarifications & answering queries Liaising with bureau and non-bureau brokers to arrange and push for payment/documents and clarifications on deficiencies Work Experience & Other Requirements B.Com or B.Com Hons graduate Minimum 1 years of experience for Executive and 2+ years for Sr. Executive Must have client management experience Excellent writing and verbal communication Strong numerical and communication skills Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings Proficiency with till systems and basic IT literacy High attention to detail and accuracy Professional appearance and positive attitude Create a high performing culture; planning, organizing and prioritizing all work activities to achieve department and team goals and objectives Managing client expectations on key deliverablesEXL is the indispensable partner for leading businesses in data-led industries such as insurance, banking and financial services, healthcare, retail and logistics.
