SAS Data Engineer and Administrator We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a SAS Data Engineer and Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our SAS platform, as well as designing and implementing data engineering solutions using SAS technologies. Responsibilities: SAS Platform Administration: Install, configure, and maintain SAS software and related components. Monitor and troubleshoot SAS platform performance, ensuring high availability and reliability. Manage user access, security, and permissions within the SAS environment. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate SAS with other systems and applications. Data Engineering: Design and develop data integration processes using SAS Data Integration Studio. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into SAS datasets. Perform data quality checks and implement data cleansing and validation procedures. Optimize data processing and storage for efficient performance. Documentation and Support: Document SAS platform configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users and resolve issues in a timely manner. Train and mentor other team members on SAS administration and data engineering best practices. Requirements: Strong experience in SAS platform administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in SAS programming, including data manipulation. Analysis, and reporting desirable. Experience with SAS Data Integration Studio and SAS macros. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) and SQL. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
