Senior Consultant/Team Lead-FAH Functional
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in requirement gathering and solution design workshops with business stakeholders.
- Design and implement Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) solutions to support accounting and financial reporting requirements.
- Configure FAH components including:
Accounting Hub setup
Transaction objects
Accounting transformations
Journal line rules
Mapping sets
Account derivation rules
Supporting references

Subledger Accounting (SLA) configurations
- Work closely with technical teams for interface design, data mapping, integrations, and custom development activities.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to ensure accurate accounting treatment and compliance with business requirements.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and support defect resolution.
- Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, test scripts, training materials, and deployment documentation.
- Support deployment activities and provide hypercare support during production stabilization.
- Coordinate effectively with offshore and onshore teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Participate in issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvements.
- Support knowledge transfer and mentor junior team members when required.
Required Skills & Experience
Oracle Expertise
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Financials implementations/support.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH).
- Strong expertise in:
Oracle FAH
Subledger Accounting (SLA)
Accounting Methods Builder (AMB)
Accounting Rules Engine
Financial integrations and accounting transformations
- Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Finance or Oracle E-Business Suite Financials is preferred.
Functional Knowledge
Strong understanding of the following Oracle Financial modules:

General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets (FA)
Cash Management (CM)
Purchasing (PO)
Projects Accounting (PA) - preferred
Cost Management and other financial subledgers - preferred
Project Lifecycle Experience

Communication & Collaboration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work directly with US-based business users and stakeholders.
Experience working in global delivery models involving both onshore and offshore teams.
Comfortable working with a minimum of 4 hours overlap with US business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree/MBA in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
Oracle Financials certifications are a plus.
Experience with accounting integrations from source systems into FAH.
Knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and reconciliation processes.
Exposure to Agile project delivery methodologies.
Key Success Factors

Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes.
Ability to translate business accounting requirements into scalable accounting solutions.
Proven experience delivering implementations from design through hypercare support.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across global teams.
Overlap Requirement: Minimum 4 hours overlap with US business hours required.
