Power BI + Sigma Lead

Skillset: Power BI + Sigma Lead

· Minimum 8+ year of Power BI development experience and 4+ years of Power BI Lead experience

· Design, develop, and maintain Power BI and Sigma dashboards, scorecards, and paginated reports.

· Lead end-to-end delivery of Power BI dashboards, reports, apps, and semantic models aligned to business priorities.

· Develop ETL/ELT logic using Power Query, Sigma data modeling, or upstream pipelines.

· Expertise in writing complex DAX functions in Power BI

· Proven experience working with Microsoft Fabric components such as OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Semantic Models, Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows Gen2

· Experience in creating Workspace and apps for business users to view the developed reports.

· Good knowledge on report performance improvement.

· Experience with governance/security patterns (RLS, workspace controls, access management).

· Expert in creating SQL objects like SP, Views, Functions etc.

· Expert in writing complex queries.

· Good knowledge of Datawarehouse and dimension modeling.

· Experience embedding reports into other applications, understanding of Rest APIs.

· Experience in data storytelling and knowledge of how people make decisions with data.

· Prior experience in Analysis Services Tabular Modelling, Power Pivot, Power BI Modelling.

· Must have experience in other reporting tools like SSRS, Tableau, QlikView etc.

· Automated Power Query refresh using power shell script and windows task scheduler.

· Conduct workshops, demos, and training on Power BI and Sigma usage.

· Knowledge on report migration (Tableau to Power BI, QlikView to Power BI etc.) is plus.

· Must have 5+ years of programming experience with Power BI, DAX, SQL and the M language.

· Prior experience in Analysis Services Tabular Modelling, Power Pivot, Power BI Modelling
