Job Description
Infosys Limited is seeking for an experienced SAP PLM Functional Consultant to support the implementation of SAP Engineering Record (ER) as a central change execution and traceability solution.
The consultant will play a key role in replacing a custom-built change management application and enabling integration-driven ER creation from PTC Windchill, including impacted Materials and MBOMs in SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities
SAP Engineering Record (ER) Implementation
- Lead functional design and implementation of SAP Engineering Record (ER).
- Configure ER lifecycle, status management, change execution, and audit trail, Process route and Workflow
- Define ER usage for execution of engineering changes triggered externally.
- Enable ER linkage with:
o Materials
o EBOM / MBOM
o Change Documents (ECM / Change Number where applicable)
- Work closely with integration teams on:
o API / IDoc / Event-based integration patterns
o Error handling and reconciliation
- Conduct requirement workshops with Engineering, Manufacturing, and IT teams.
- Create:
o Functional Design Documents (FDD)
o Process Flows
o Impact analysis documents
- Align SAP ER usage with business governance and compliance needs.
- Good working experience with SAP Product data Management like material master, BOM and Documents
- Good to have knowledge on Windchill–SAP integration (direct or middleware-based).
- Good to have knowledge of BRF+ application for PR configuration
