Backend Developer - PHP Laravel

Looking for a high-performing Backend developer with a bachelors degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Backend Development or a similar role. They are someone who can succeed as a Backend Developer because of their strong problem-solving skills.

They are someone who is currently living in Mumbai and can start immediately or have a notice period of fewer than 30 days and are willing to work from the office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write code and tests, build prototypes, solve issues, profile, and analyze bottlenecks

• Design performance gauging, building robust APIs to support mobile and desktop clients

• Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems on the cloud

• Optimization of web applications for performance and scalability

• Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met and allow for regression testing

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging

• Write clean code to develop functional web applications

• Troubleshoot and debug applications

• Perform UI tests to optimize performance

• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications

• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Gather and address technical and design requirements

• Provide training and support to internal teams

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Mandatory Requirements:

• PHP Laravel Framework, PHP Design Patterns.

• Proficient in MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

• APIs, REST API, SOAP API, API Security, Open APIs

• Push Notifications, Laravel Events, Queue, Observers

• Excellent foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web design

• Experience writing highly secure web applications

• Experience with core AWS web-enabling technologies

• Experience designing RESTful APIs, specifically for mobile app

Eligibility Criteria:

• Computer science degree or equivalent experience

• Experience leading a team

• 2-8 Years experience in back-end development in PHP Laravel

• Residing in Mumbai

• Willing to work from the office 6 days/week

• Willing to work in a start-up

Job Location: Kanjurmarg, WFO 6 days/week
