Job Overview:

Seeking a highly driven and strategic Sr. Sales Manager / Director - B2B to lead fundraising and partnership initiatives for Dolphin Tank India (DTI). This role will focus on securing strategic investments from global investors and building high-value partnerships/sponsorships with growth-stage startups and established businesses targeting Gen Z and the startup ecosystem.

This is a high-impact, revenue-driving role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and has a strong network across investors and corporate ecosystems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Investments & Partnerships

  • Identify, engage, and onboard sector-agnostic investors across India, US, UK, Dubai, and Singapore.
  • Drive strategic conversations for early-stage investments into Indian startups via DTI.
  • Build and close B2B partnerships and sponsorship deals with startups and established businesses.


Business Development & Sales Leadership

  • Own the end-to-end B2B sales lifecycle - lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and closure.
  • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy aligned with DTI's growth and revenue goals.
  • Build a strong pipeline of investors, partners, and sponsors.


Client Persona Targeting
Engage with:

  • Investors: Global early-stage investors (India, US, UK, Dubai, Singapore)
  • Partners/Sponsors:
    • Funded B2C/B2B startups targeting Gen Z/startups
    • Established businesses targeting Gen Z/startups


Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with investors, founders, CXOs, and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring high engagement and repeat collaborations.


Market Intelligence & Positioning

  • Stay updated on startup ecosystem trends, investment landscape, and partnership opportunities.
  • Position DTI as a preferred platform for investments and strategic collaborations.


Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with founders and leadership on strategic growth initiatives.
  • Track, analyze, and report sales performance, pipeline, and closures.


Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in:

    • Investments / Fundraising
    • Startup ecosystem
    • Sponsorships / Strategic partnerships
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer engagement practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
  • Personality traits: Ambitious, Adaptive, Proactive, Relationship-driven

Compensation:

  • As per market standards. Deferred compensation during probation period (6 months)

INR 4,50,000 per successful B2B deal closure
