Job Summary:
An experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to help design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation processes on Microsoft Azure platform. Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployment of applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve speed and reliability
Write custom scripts (PowerShell or any other) as part of the build and deployment process
Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, or Azure CLI.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud solutions follow best practices.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and application deployments.
Implement and manage security, compliance, and governance on Azure.
Work with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (AKS).
Participate in code reviews, infrastructure reviews, and architecture discussions.
Set up and manage Azure resources: App Services, VMs, Storage, Networking, Azure Key Vault, etc.
Maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and environment configurations.
Share daily and weekly status reports with all stakeholders for DevOps achievements and challenges
Required Skills and Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Familiarity with CI/CD principles, Git workflows, and version control (Git).
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes / AKS).
Good understanding of cloud networking, security, and governance.
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset.
