UI Developer

Preferred Skills: This role involves influencing evaluation of cutting edge technologies, building scalable, robust and configurable platform. Mandatory Skills Very strong hands on experience of web technologies: - HTML, Java Scripting, ExtJS, JQuery, JGraph, Twitter Bootstrap, HTML5/CSS3, YUI. UI Design & Programming Experience Has implemented coding patterns and built UI framework Cross browsers support/experience and knowledge of DOM manipulation on different browsers Worked on security implementation (cross site scripting) Performance enhancements on web page load and execution Experience with tools like HttpWatch, Fiddler, Firebug, etc. Basics on Ajax, WebServices, REST, servlets, etc. Strong Knowledge in Java/J2EE and RDBMS Good awareness on the SDLC methodology (Preferably Agile) Personal Traits: Out of the box thinking and with a "never give up" attitude Willingness to learn and adapt new technology. Strong comprehension, analytical and problem solving skills Excellent Communication skills (written & verbal) are mandatory Job roles and Responsibilities: Ability to design and develop UI framework on Javascript and CSS which confines to requirement of MetricStream Solutions. Guide the development platform from UI prespective Mentor fellow developers with UI technologies Work with the MetricStream architecture committee in designing the technical roadmap Develop Configurable applications. Unit Testing (JASMINE) Work closely with other developers in the team Help with the development of demos of MetricStream's applications Hands on development (80%) in addition to leading the team on the technical front
