NetSuite Senior Developer

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Senior Developer to lead the technical management and development of our NetSuite platform. In this role, you will also work on the functional side, translating business requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions. You will collaborate closely with Finance and IT teams to design, build, and maintain solutions that drive process improvements and deliver actionable insights.

What You'll Do

• Lead report writing and analytics initiatives for company financial data, including the development of dashboards and operational reports for teams, managers, and executives
• Drive data and system integration projects across the business, including supporting BI platforms connected to NetSuite
• Gather and analyze requirements, architect solutions, and build and maintain customizations within NetSuite
• Perform hands-on SuiteScript development and back-end customization work across projects
• Design, develop, and maintain workflows and processes in NetSuite to optimize platform performance and support unique business requirements
• Conduct integrity testing of system upgrades and development releases prior to production migration, including maintaining the integrated platform testing application
• Create and maintain documentation covering business objectives, use cases, business requirements, system specifications, workflows, and processes
• Serve as the functional and technical in NetSuite across production and sandbox NetSuite environments and related systems
• Assess current-state processes, evaluate solution options, and implement effective designs to meet defined business objectives
• Provide subject matter expertise and hands-on support to internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and customers

What You'll Have

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the day-to-day technical management and administration of the NetSuite platform
• Strong NetSuite ERP development background, with proven hands-on SuiteScript experience for back-end customization
• Demonstrated experience integrating NetSuite with third-party systems using Restlets and SuiteTalk
• In-depth knowledge of core NetSuite modules including Accounting, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Fixed Assets, along with a solid understanding of industry-standard practices in GL, AP, and AR; experience with Bank Statement Integration and NetSuite Electronic Payments is a plus
• NetSuite Administrator or NetSuite Consultant certification preferred
• Solid working knowledge of SuiteFlow for building new workflows and maintaining complex existing ones
• Proficiency in saved searches, formula writing, report building, dashboard creation, custom forms, and workflow configuration
• Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP workflow functionality, business processes, and platform best practices
• Experience leveraging custom forms, fields, custom records, and workflows to address unique business process requirements within the ERP system
• Strong ability to manage competing priorities, troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly, and work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven experience mentoring and guiding junior team members, providing both technical and functional leadership
