About ICA

As one of fastest growing practice in DA&S, Infrastructure and Climate Advisory (ICA) team at KGS invites like-minded professionals to help us drive progress and change. At KGS ICA practice, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist public and private sector organizations involved in infrastructure to deliver desired outcomes, whether for society or for businesses. We are the Centre of Excellence for KPMG's Global practices, helping our clients better understand evolving policy and regulatory environment, business and commercial risks, as well as providing commercial and strategic advice on complex infrastructure and capital projects. You will work on wide range of infrastructure sectors including transport, energy, digital infrastructure as well as social infrastructure, with diverse clientage such as public sector entities, infrastructure owners, project developers, large corporates, contractors, equity investors and financers.

The role will be based out of KPMG's Gurugram/Mumbai offices and liaise cross-functionally with leaders across the business to drive internal and external engagement.

Educational qualifications

Post-graduates/MBAs from a leading Indian/International educational institution
Candidates holding professional certification relevant to the requirements are preferred, but not mandatory.

Work experience

Relevant experience (3-5 years) in strategy and research gained through corporate roles, consulting, or public sector organizations

Mandatory technical & functional skills

Exposure to infrastructure projects sectors such as transportation, social infrastructure, energy and utilities, building construction and real estate or aligned sectors is mandatory
Understanding of the infrastructure asset lifecycle and how it impacts strategy and operations within various sectors
Experience in strategic planning and operational frameworks to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to optimize project outcomes
Strong analytical capabilities including to be able to conduct data analysis, risk assessments, market studies and provide recommendations for improvements
Be proficient in Microsoft office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and in making presentations for senior level stakeholders with effective story boarding skills
Having familiarity with data analysis tools like Alteryx, visualization tools like Power BI, Visio. Moreover, experience of application of Gen AI based tools would be an advantage
Independently drive engagements through out the life cycle of Infrastructure projects (strategy, development, and performance) for clients in the government & public sector, corporates, institutional investors and infrastructure developers
Conceptualize & develop reports on topics such as organizational policies, market assessment, market sizing, business plans, feasibility studies, business case evaluations and capital investment plans
Contribute to thought leadership, white papers and point of views to develop market intelligence and sector knowledge
Support Global Infrastructure advisory teams on business development initiatives, including preparation of proposals, pitches
Conduct research, synthesize insights and develop presentations for end client deliverables
Manage relationships with key stakeholders independently across various member firms
