Job Title: AppOps Engineer
Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of experience working as a Linux/DevOps Engineer
• 2+ years of experience with ansible/Terraform
• 1+ years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines
Job Description:
• Install, configure and security harden Linux (Ubuntu preferred), Docker Images.
• Migrating Virtual Machines to Docker Containers.
• Scripting in Ansible or Puppet.
• Deploy IaC through Terraform in Azure.
• Install Apache/Nginx, configure Vhosts, SSL, modules.
• Install PHP, configure PECL/PEAR libraries, PHP.ini.
• Setup database connectivity to MSSQL, MySQL.
• Install and setup Elasticsearch.
• Install and configure Redis clustering.
• Versed at setting up and configuration of SystemD processes, Cron jobs, parsing logfiles, configuring logical/physical partitions, proxying, load balancing, sticky sessions, regex, modifying headers and LUA scripting
• Deploy and configure software on application servers.
• Working knowledge of Azure Kubernetes (AKS).
• Comfortable with Git/ BitBucket / Jira.
• Experience working within the Azure or AWS cloud.
Good to have:
• Configure IaC of Azure cloud infrastructure using Ansible.
• Install SupervisorD.
• Install RabbitMQ in HA cluster mode.
• Install and configure NodeJS, Socket.io, solr.
