Who You Are:

This position will be WFO/Hybrid, but you will be working closely with the teams in the United States and Canada through video chat, instant messaging, e-mail, phone, and our software. It is important that you have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. We are a fast-paced company expanding rapidly, and we are seeking team members who will share our vision for the future and work collaboratively to accomplish Base8 goals. Job Summary

The Business Development Representative (BDR)is responsible forgenerating new business opportunities byidentifying, contacting, and qualifying potential clients. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, lead generation, andsetting upqualified meetings for the Sales team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, target-driven, and passionate about technology and sales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identifyand research potential clients in target markets (USmarketsprimarily).
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on predefined criteria.
  • Schedule discovery calls and product demos for Account Executives.
  • Maintainaccuraterecords of all activities in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Develop and execute strategic outreach campaigns.
  • Understand company IT products/services and clearly articulate value propositions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams tooptimizelead generation efforts.
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quartersales development targets.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, IT, or related field (preferred).
  • 5-8 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation (preferably in IT/SaaS).
  • Strong understanding of US market dynamics and B2B salesprocesses.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
  • Ability to handle objections and negotiate effectively.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in selling IT services, SaaS, cloud solutions, or cybersecurity services.
  • Familiarity with sales frameworks such as SPIN Selling or MEDDIC.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other prospecting tools.
  • Experience working in a US time zone.
