Position Name - Sales Head
Location - Pune
Experience Range - 5-10 Years
Mandatory Requirement:
5–10 years of progressive experience in B2B capital equipment sales, with at least 3 years in international/export markets.
Strong understanding of EPC procurement processes, tender/bid management, and long sales cycle deal management.
Proven ability to independently build and develop new markets, including channel partner development.
Experience working in the MENA region; existing industry network in the Gulf, Saudi Arabia, or North Africa is a strong advantage.
Proficiency in HubSpot CRM or similar tools, with experience in data-driven sales management and reporting.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities for vacuum pumps, process equipment, and turnkey projects across MENA, Africa, and other export markets.
Develop and execute territory sales plans with quarterly targets aligned to export revenue goals.
Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups.
Drive proposal development, techno-commercial negotiations, and closure of capital equipment orders.
Conduct market mapping and competitive analysis against key players such as Atlas Copco, Edwards, Busch Group, and GEA.
Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and project opportunities across pharma, chemical, refinery, and battery manufacturing sectors.
Provide structured market feedback to support product development, pricing strategy, and go-to-market planning.
Build and nurture relationships with EPC contractors, OEMs, process consultants, and procurement teams across international markets.
Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners, agents, and distributors in key export regions.
Act as the technical and commercial interface for international enquiries in coordination with engineering and application teams in India.
Conduct technical presentations, plant visits, and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop technical content, case studies, and application-specific collateral.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports including pipeline updates, win/loss analysis, and market insights.
Ensure compliance with export regulations and applicable international trade requirements.
Manage budgets for travel, exhibitions, and business development activities within approved limits.
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred
MBA or post-graduate qualification in Marketing / International Business is a strong plus but not a requirement
