Role Descriptions:
Deploy| configure| and maintain Forescout eyeInspect (formerly SilentDefense) sensors and Command Center across multi-site OTICS environments| including SCADA| DCS| and PLC networks.Perform continuous OT network monitoring using Forescout eyeInspect for asset discovery| protocol analysis| vulnerability identification| and anomaly threat detection. Develop and tune eyeInspect detection policies| alert rules| and baseline profiles to reduce false positives and improve threat detection accuracy across industrial protocols (Modbus| DNP3| OPC UA| EtherNetIP| PROFINET| S7| etc.).Conduct OT asset inventory management| maintaining an accurate and up-to-date asset register with detailed device fingerprinting| firmware versions| and communication patterns.Integrate Forescout eyeInspect with SIEM platforms (e.g.| Splunk| Microsoft Sentinel)| SOC workflows| and incident response processes to enable centralized OT security monitoring.Support the design and enforcement of OT network segmentation strategies| including IDMZ (Industrial Demilitarized Zone) architecture| in alignment with IEC 62443 zones and conduits model.Collaborate with OT engineers| plant operations teams| and IT security teams to assess risks| respond to OT security incidents| and develop remediation plans.Perform periodic vulnerability assessments and risk analysis of OTICS assets using eyeInspect data and supplementary tools.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)| runbooks| and technical documentation for eyeInspect operations and OT security monitoring workflows.Support compliance and audit activities by generating reports aligned with IEC 62443| NIST SP 800-82| NERC CIP| or other applicable OT security frameworks and regulatory standards.Stay current with the evolving OT threat landscape| Forescout product updates| and emerging best practices in industrial cybersecurity.
Essential Skills:
4 - 8 years of professional experience in OTICS cybersecurity| network security| or a closely related field with direct exposure to industrial environments. Hands-on experience deploying| configuring| and operating Forescout eyeInspect (SilentDefense) in production OT environments| including sensor deployment| policy tuning| and Command Center administration.Strong understanding of OTICS architectures including SCADA| DCS| RTU| PLC| and HMI systems| and how they differ from traditional IT environments. Solid knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCPRTU| DNP3| OPC UADA| EtherNetIP| PROFINET| BACnet| and IEC 61850104.Experience with OT network security principles including network segmentation| IDMZ design| firewall rule management in OT zones| and SPANTAP-based passive monitoring. Working knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks and standards IEC 62443| NIST SP 800-82| and the Purdue Model ISA-95 reference architecture. Proficiency with network analysis and packet capture tools (Wireshark| tcpdump) for troubleshooting and forensic analysis in OT networks. Experience integrating OT security tools with SIEMSOAR platforms (e.g.| Splunk| Microsoft Sentinel| IBM QRadar) for centralized monitoring and incident response.
