Role Overview

A Java Backend Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable server-side applications using Java. The role focuses on business logic, APIs, database interactions, and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Build microservices-based applications using frameworks like:
  • Spring Boot
  • Spring Framework
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend applications
• Work with databases such as:
  • MySQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • MongoDB
• Implement authentication and security (JWT, OAuth)
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams
• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies
