They are an engineering-driven company that sells pneumatic and electric transducers primarily to the automation industry. They also offer Engineering Services via its Customer Solutions department. These solutions range from simple assemblies and kits, to full automation solutions. They have an annual revenue of 2 Billion Euros.
Job Description
As a member of the Management Team provide reporting and analysis regarding all profit relevant dimensions like product /customer profitability, process costs, etc.
To plan, implement and monitor the Finance strategy based on the HQ guidelines in order to achieve defined targets
To prepare budgets, review budget proposals and assist management in measuring financial operating performance and results against budget.
To establish the financial policies for the company according to the HQ guidelines and local accounting rules and ensure effective cash management together with global treasury
Develop and enhance financial and operational reporting using SAP financial systems and Business Intelligence cubes
Facilitate executive management business performance reviews including variance analysis and the subsequent presentation of forecasts, analysis, flash reporting across key areas
Support pricing and cost saving initiatives in collaboration with local, regional and corporate teams
Direct all finance and accounting activities of the company in terms of preparation of financial statements, accounts receivable and payable, billing and invoice checking, inventory and fixed assets accounting, tax returns, reports for government regulatory agencies, auditors, etc.
Co-ordinate and support planning initiatives enterprise wide including development of detailed templates, consolidation of budgets, and detailed analysis of revenue and expense drivers
Support ad-hoc tasks and various business projects using tools to improve financial processes and increase productivity
Support the implementation and adherence of global standardized processes and procedures.
Informs and advices the Management Team
Exchange information with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure reporting is accurate and consistent between Actual and Budget
Communicate and exchange information with banks and financial institutions in order to get advantageous terms.
Partner with stakeholders through the company to ensure financial.
Develop new appropriate metrics to measure growth, improve profitability, control expenses and enhance productivity; deliver innovative, high value-added financial information to the management team for strategic decision making
Evaluate the actual tools and processes and changes them so that the company can realise its targets in the most efficient and cost effective way
Lead, coach, motivate and evaluate own staff
Responsible, together with HR, for staff recruitment, training and development, etc. in the area of responsibility.
Qualifications
University Degree in Finance
CA, MBA or equivalent Business training advantageous (not compulsory)
Minimum 10 years of Strong Experience in areas such as Controlling, Legal Compliance, Audit etc.
