Senior Software Technologist-Power BI

Job Summary:

The BI Developer designs, develops, and maintains business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making in a healthcare SaaS environment. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and usability for clinical and operational stakeholders. AI integration is increasingly central to this role, enabling predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and dynamic reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Modeling & Visualization

• Expertise in designing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

1. SQL & Query Optimization

• Strong command of SQL for data extraction and transformation

1. Experience optimizing queries for performance and scalability
2. Cloud Data Platforms

• Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Understanding of cloud-native data architecture

1. Healthcare Data Standards & Compliance

• Knowledge of HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability protocols
• Ability to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Agile Delivery

• Effective communication with clinical, operational, and technical teams
• Experience working in agile development environments

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

8+ years of experience in BI development, preferably in healthcare SaaS
Experience integrating AI into BI workflows is highly desirable
