Job Summary:
  • We are looking for an experienced Civil & Structural Designer-Lead with 10+ years of experience in EPCM Oil & Gas projects.
  • The role primarily involves checking and reviewing civil & structural deliverables with a strong focus on structural steel and fabrication drawings.
  • The candidate must ensure technical accuracy, compliance with codes, and high-quality outputs prior to issue.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Check and review structural GA drawings, layouts, foundation drawings, and detailed fabrication drawings.
  • Verify structural steel detailing, member sizing, connection details, and bill of materials.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and standards.
  • Review vendor drawings and resolve inter-discipline comments (IDC).
  • Coordinate with Civil, Piping, Mechanical, and other disciplines for clash and interface issues.
  • Provide technical guidance to designers and support quality control processes.
  • Ensure error-free and timely deliverables.

Key Skills:
  • Strong expertise in structural steel detailing and fabrication drawings (essential).
  • Experience in checking civil & structural drawings, GA drawings, and foundation drawings.
  • Sound understanding of relevant structural codes and standards (IS / AISC / BS etc).
  • Experience in reviewing vendor drawings and resolving inter-discipline comments (IDC).
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines and ensure error-free deliverables.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Advance Steel or similar) will be considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.

Educational Qualification:
  • Diploma / bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in Civil & Structural design within EPCM Oil & Gas projects.
