Role Overview

A Structural Design Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, and ensuring the safety and stability of structures such as buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities. The role involves applying engineering principles, codes, and advanced software tools to create efficient and durable designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for:
  • Residential, commercial, and industrial structures
  • Steel, concrete, and composite systems
• Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and reports
• Use design software such as:
  • STAAD.Pro
  • ETABS
  • SAP2000
• Ensure compliance with design codes and standards (IS, ACI, Eurocodes, etc.)
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers
• Review and approve shop drawings and construction plans
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance
• Optimize structural designs for cost, safety, and performance
