Job Overview: Director - CRM & Sales Systems is accountable for the strategy, governance, and delivery of the company's CRM and Sales technology ecosystem, with Salesforce as the core platform. This role ensures CRM and Sales Systems directly enable revenue growth, sales productivity, forecasting accuracy, and scalable gotomarket execution. The Director acts as the owner of CRM & Sales Systems, partnering closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, Marketing, IT, and executive leadership to drive measurable business outcomes through technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Executive Responsibilities

  • Own the CRM & Sales Systems vision, multiyear roadmap, and investment strategy aligned to company growth objectives.
  • Serve as the executive system owner for Salesforce and Sales platforms.
  • Partner with Sales and GTM leadership to translate sales strategy into scalable CRM and revenue capabilities.
  • Define and govern CRM operating models, data standards, process frameworks, and KPIs.
  • Drive adoption, change management, and value realization across global Sales teams.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for CRM prioritization, risk management, and delivery tradeoffs.
  • Represent CRM & Sales Systems in executive forums, steering committees, and leadership reviews.

Platform Ownership & Delivery Governance

  • Own Salesforce as the system of record for CRM and Sales operations.
  • Provide executive oversight for all CRM and Sales Systems initiatives, enhancements, and transformations.
  • Establish delivery governance across:
    • Demand intake and prioritization
    • Agile execution and release planning
    • UAT strategy and golive readiness
  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and predictable delivery.
  • Lead strategic vendor, SI, and Salesforce partner relationships.

People & Organizational Leadership

  • Build and lead a highperforming organization of CRM product owners, architects, admins, analysts, and delivery leads.
  • Establish clear accountability, role clarity, and operating cadence across teams.
  • Coach leaders within the CRM organization and support succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of business partnership, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven experience leading enterprisescale CRM & Sales Systems.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and CPQ.
  • Strong understanding of Sales, forecasting, territory, and revenue operations.
  • Executivelevel stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong delivery governance, financial ownership, and vendor management experience.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience integrating CRM with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
  • Exposure to highgrowth, global, or SOXcompliant environments.
  • Experience with DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with subscription or usagebased revenue models.
