Job Purpose: Incharge - PSS is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of the pooling substation team, ensuring that all activities align with safety regulations, operational standards, and organizational goals. This role involves developing and implementing effective policies, fostering team collaboration, and optimizing performance to ensure reliable and efficient power distribution and supply within the designated area.
- 12-16 years of experience in transmission line execution projects (renewable/power infrastructure preferred).
- Experience in large-scale solar/wind evacuation projects will be preferred.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to be based at Khavda site location with extensive on-ground involvement.
- Lead end-to-end execution of EHV/HV transmission lines (33kV and above) from site mobilization to commissioning.
- Manage and supervise route survey validation, tower spotting, foundation, erection, stringing, sagging, and final commissioning activities at site.
- Ensure daily execution planning and progress tracking to meet project timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate with DISCOMs, STU/CTU, and regulatory authorities for approvals, inspections, and charging activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to CEA regulations, IS standards, quality norms, and safety protocols during project execution.
- Handle ROW clearance, land coordination, and local stakeholder management to ensure uninterrupted execution.
- Monitor project schedules, BOQs, site productivity, and cost control measures to ensure budget adherence.
- Manage contractors and vendors, including mobilization, performance monitoring, billing certification, and issue resolution.
- Support testing, charging, energization, and integration with substations/switchyards.
- Identify and mitigate execution delays, technical challenges, and safety risks proactively at site.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, MIS dashboards, and execution updates for management review.
- Lead and guide site engineers, supervisors, and contractor teams for effective execution delivery.
