Educational Qualification:

  • B.E./B.Tech from a reputed Institute/ University. Master's degree in the same is preferred.

Experiences:

  • Candidate must have 16 to 20 years of experience in Project Management preferably in Offsites & Utility (OSBL) in Petrochemical Business
  • Understood, handled & designed packages in piping, pulling towers, warehouses & tanks
  • Hands-on Experience in designing, operating & building OSBL packages
  • Exposure of project management in Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Operating in OSBL

Skills:

  • Professionally skilled in Leadership, prioritizing tasks, supervising
  • Candidate must necessarily be able to work in Teams, and should reflect the qualities of a Team Player
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills and should have strong Written and Verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office is a must. Proficiency in MS projects, Primavera is desired
  • Participate in Project feasibility study.
  • Preparation of Construction methodology / Project Execution Plan.
  • Support and Review preparation of RFQ/ tender document to obtain technical bids from various Licensors and DEC.
  • Review Scope of Works (SOW) / Division of Responsibility (DOR) documents for selection of Licensor and DEC.
  • Reviewing Licensor / DEC offers and finalizing their scope. Also to review technical terms and conditions with the Vendors
  • Oversee detailed project specific project execution plans including procurement management plan, contract management plan, engineering management plan, HSE management plan, Quality management plan etc.
  • Reviewing Licensor FEED and DEC deliverables.
  • Identifying and managing the risks through out the project life cycle.
  • Identifying Critical Actions to keep Short falls reduced
  • Arranging Kick-Off Meetings with Licensor, DEC and various vendors and coordinating for deliverables review & approval.
  • Presenting project status and various MIS to management and highlighting any potential risk and opportunity to management.
  • Ensuring execution of project activities as per approved project management plans and organization policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring change control procedure is being followed.
  • Co-ordinating with Procurement and Contracts team for material and services procurement.
  • Co-ordinating with Construction team for timely & safely erection and commissioning of the project.
  • Organizing and coordinating various review meetings to ensure resolution of hold points and to streamline the project activities. Issuing MOMs and tracking pending actions.
  • Preparing and review the policy for Zero Lost Time Injury (LTI)
  • Ensure that all vendors used by the EPC/ EPCM contractor are selected, evaluated, and re-evaluated and that records of this assessment are maintained.
  • Regularly reviews the project status and resultant risk analysis and suggest mitigation plans.
  • Support project team to maintain safe systems, provide specialist advice, and practical support.
  • Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
  • Identifying the Training Needs for the team members and to layout key training Gaps
  • Ensuring completion and closure of project in all aspects.
