Tech XR Innovations was founded in 2021 and was conceptualized with the aim of bridging the gap between the hardware and technology requirements, and the immense amount of untapped talent available in a developing country like India. We have developed our own patented custom hardware solution to enable access to Augmented/Virtual/Mixed Reality content to people and institutions which can not afford to go for the expensive VR/MR headsets available in the market. We provide an end-to-end solution to anyone looking to incorporate the power of XR applications at less than a fraction of the cost of the current offerings in the market.
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify Developer to join our growing e-commerce team. You will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining our Shopify storefront to deliver a seamless and high-converting shopping experience. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of Shopify's ecosystem, a good eye for UI/UX, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional, elegant solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Build and integrate custom Shopify apps and third-party plugins as per business requirements
Optimize store performance including page speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals
Collaborate with the design team to implement pixel-perfect storefronts from Figma or other design mockups
Manage product listings, collections, metafields, and store configurations
Integrate third-party tools such as payment gateways, shipping providers, ERP systems, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools
Troubleshoot bugs, resolve technical issues, and conduct regular store audits
Set up and manage Shopify Plus features such as Scripts, Flows, and Launchpad where applicable
Work with the marketing team to implement landing pages, promotional banners, and campaign-specific UI changes
Ensure the store is compliant with SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and data privacy regulations
Document all custom development, integrations, and configurations for future reference
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
2-4 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development
Strong proficiency in Liquid templating language
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (Vanilla JS and/or jQuery)
Experience with Shopify CLI, Theme Kit, and version control tools like Git
Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs for custom app development
Knowledge of Shopify's Online Store 2.0 architecture and app blocks
Experience integrating tools like Klaviyo, Judge.me, ReCharge, or similar Shopify ecosystem apps
Understanding of e-commerce KPIs, conversion optimization, and customer journey mapping
Good to Have:
Experience with Shopify Plus and its advanced features
Exposure to headless commerce using Shopify Hydrogen or Storefront API
Familiarity with React.js or Node.js for custom app development
Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and GTM setup
Understanding of A/B testing and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) practices
Prior experience working in a D2C or high-growth e-commerce brand
