About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and scale our software delivery initiatives. This role calls for a dynamic leader who thrives at both the strategic and execution levels - someone who can establish high-performing Agile teams, streamline delivery processes, and ensure business alignment. You'll be accountable for driving measurable outcomes, managing multiple stakeholders, and maintaining strong delivery discipline using modern tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead large-scale software programs comprising multiple Agile teams.
Establish and optimize Agile frameworks - guide teams through ceremonies, artifacts, and continuous improvement.
Drive end-to-end planning: define roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, capacity plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
Proactively identify and remove impediments, facilitate decision-making, and ensure accountability across teams.
Manage project workflows and documentation using Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools (2+ years hands-on experience required).
Engage effectively with diverse stakeholders across business, product, engineering, and leadership levels - align priorities amidst ambiguity and conflicting demands.
Track and communicate progress through delivery metrics (velocity, burn-down, throughput, quality, etc.) and reports for senior leadership.
(Optional but beneficial) Collaborate closely with engineering teams - understanding of Java, Maven, CI/CD, and DevOps is a plus.
Required Qualifications & Skills
10+ years of relevant experience in software program management, delivery management, or engineering leadership.
Proven success in building and leading Agile teams, and embedding Agile best practices.
Solid hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence (or similar tools).
Exceptional stakeholder management - skilled at negotiation, alignment, and influencing across levels.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a bias for action and outcomes.
Broad understanding of software delivery lifecycles and technical decision-making, even without day-to-day coding.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Experience in Java, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps environments.
Exposure to managing large, distributed engineering teams.
Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or Agile/Scrum Master.
