Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive/Senior Executive - Supply Chain (Procurement/Purchase) to manage procurement operations for our client, Bluestar, at Sri City. The ideal candidate should have experience in vendor management, sourcing, and procurement within the automotive or consumer appliance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including RFQs, negotiations, purchase order processing, and vendor coordination.

  • Identify and develop reliable suppliers for materials, components, and consumables.

  • Ensure on-time material availability to support production and project requirements.

  • Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and negotiation to achieve cost optimization.

  • Monitor supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery metrics.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams - engineering, production, and logistics - for seamless supply chain operations.

  • Maintain procurement data, records, and reports in ERP systems.

  • Support new supplier onboarding and documentation in compliance with company and client standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in Procurement / Purchase / Supply Chain within automotive or consumer appliance industries.

  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.

  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and components.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
