Job Description
This is a contract on-site role for a Design Engineer (SolidWorks). As a CAD Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating engineering drawings, performing design engineering tasks, utilizing SolidWorks software, and contributing to mechanical engineering and product design projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of design projects.
Key role and responsibilities:
- Experience of working in deliverables for Automotive/Consumer Durables manufacturing, process equipment and supporting utility systems is an added advantage
- Familiarity with Automotive/Consumer industry standards is an added advantage
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D
- Proficient in AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks
- Proficient in reading/drawing and verifying P&IDs, PFDs, Layouts and other System Drawings
- Knowledge of other 3D software such as SolidWorks.
- Experience with Casting Forging and Machining category is mandatory.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/diploma degree in mechanical engineering.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in designing.
- Proficiency in engineering Drawings & Design, and Computer-Aided Design (Solidworks, AutoCAD).
- Experience in product design and development
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
