Senior Finance Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Reporting
    • Support in migration process of tally accounting to Zoho books
    • Review/reconciliation of day to day accounting in Zoho Books/Zoho Accounting.
    • Prepare all necessary workings required as under IND AS and post the entries accordingly in accounting software
    • Liase with the IND AS consultant and provide the necessary data to the consultant
  • Taxation
    • Support in preparation of replies to various tax notices
    • Maintain the tracker for all notices/on-going scrutiny for both direct and indirect tax compliance
    • Prepare and file tax returns, advance tax computations, and coordinate with auditors.
    • Monitor changes in tax laws and suggest necessary adjustments.
  • NBFC Middle Layer Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines applicable to NBFC middle layer entities.
    • Maintain compliance with prudential norms, capital adequacy, and governance standards.
    • Support statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews.
  • RBI Reporting
    • Prepare and submit periodic returns and reports to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)
    • Ensure timely and accurate filing of regulatory submissions (CRILC, NBS returns, etc.)
    • Liaise with RBI officials and respond to queries/inspections.

Process & Controls

  • Implement internal controls and compliance frameworks.
  • Support automation and process improvements in accounting and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial planning and compliance.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of IND AS and Indian taxation laws.
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho Books/Zoho Accounting.
  • Familiarity with NBFC middle layer compliance requirements.
  • Experience in RBI reporting formats and timelines.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis.
  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • CA/CMA intermediate preferred.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, and NBFC compliance.

Key Deliverables

  • Accurate IND AS-compliance financial statements.
  • Timely tax filings and compliance with GST/TDS/Income Tax.
  • Error-free Zoho accounting records.
  • On-time submission of RBI returns and NBFC compliance reports.
  • Strong audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
