Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Executive - Quality (Customer Complaints & SQA) to manage customer complaint resolution and supplier quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive or consumer appliance industries, with hands-on experience in root cause analysis, supplier audits, and quality system compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Complaint Handling:
Lead investigation and resolution of customer complaints (internal and external).
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, and Pareto Analysis.
Coordinate with production, design, and supplier teams to implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Ensure timely closure of all customer concerns and maintain records per IATF 16949 standards.
Maintain strong communication and follow-up with OEM/customer quality teams.
Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA):
Support supplier audits, process reviews, and quality performance tracking.
Verify supplier compliance with APQP, PPAP, MSA, and SPC requirements.
Handle incoming inspection and monitor supplier rejection analysis.
Collaborate with suppliers for continuous improvement and defect reduction.
Quality Systems & Documentation:
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
Maintain inspection records, audit reports, and quality documentation.
Support internal audits, quality reporting, and improvement initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in Quality Assurance / Supplier Quality / Customer Complaints Handling within the automotive or consumer appliance industry.
Strong understanding of automotive core tools - APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
Practical experience in OEM interactions and quality audits.
Proficient in MS Office, SAP/QMS, and quality data analysis tools.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
