Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on FPGA Engineer with deep expertise in high-speed serial protocol-based designs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in FPGA RTL development, timing closure, and debugging complex high-speed interfaces. This role requires a proactive problem-solver capable of delivering production-ready FPGA solutions in collaboration with global R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and develop FPGA RTL (VHDL/Verilog) for high-speed serial protocols.
  • Handle complex FPGA design challenges including CDC, multi-clock domains, timing closure, and SerDes optimization.
  • Perform synthesis, place-and-route, and timing optimization using Xilinx Vivado.
  • Debug and validate FPGA designs and board-level high-speed interfaces.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams for end-to-end FPGA solution delivery.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLM-based tools) to enhance RTL productivity.

Technical Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on FPGA design and development experience.
  • Strong expertise in high-speed serial protocols such as:

    • Preferred: PCIe, NVMe, CXL
    • Additional: Ethernet (10G/25G/100G), USB 3.x/USB4, SATA, SAS, InfiniBand, DisplayPort, HDMI, MIPI M-PHY
  • Strong experience in:

    • CDC handling and multi-clock domain design
    • Timing closure and optimization
    • High-speed interface validation
