Rekise Marine - Store Executive
Job Title: Store Executive
Location: Bangalore | Full-Time | Experience: 2-5 Years
About Rekise Marine
Rekise Marine is building autonomous ships and submarines that operate in the world's most hostile environments. We're executing India's flagship autonomous submarine project the Jalkapi XLAUV on order from the Indian Navy. This is an unmanned submarine weighing over 20 tons that can travel 5,000+ kilometers autonomously and operate in the ocean for 30+ days at a time.
We're creating some of the largest autonomous robots in the world, machines with direct impact on the global economy and national security. While autonomous cars in India may still be a dream, autonomous ships and submarines are already a reality, and it is possible to build for the world from India.
The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Store Executive to manage end-to-end store and warehouse operations at Rekise Marine. You will own the GRN process, inventory accuracy, statutory compliance on invoices, and serve as the critical link between the store and finance. This role demands operational rigour, strong Excel skills, and clear communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- GRN Management: Manage the Goods Received Note (GRN) process end-to-end including raising, posting, and validating GRNs against purchase orders. Ensure timely processing with zero discrepancies.
- GST & HSN Compliance: Verify GST applicability and HSN codes on all incoming invoices to ensure statutory compliance. Flag and resolve any mismatches before payment processing.
- Inward & Outward Inventory: Oversee all inward and outward inventory movements. Maintain real-time stock records and ensure every material movement is documented accurately.
- Invoice Storage & Records: Maintain accurate, well-organised storage and records of all invoices and supporting documents in both physical and digital formats.
- Finance Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact with the finance department on payment-related matters - including communicating payment due dates, resolving disputes, and providing supporting documentation as required.
- Credit Note & Debit Note Processing: Handle CN and DN processing accurately and in a timely manner, coordinating with vendors and the finance team to resolve discrepancies.
- Delivery Challans & Reconciliation: Manage Delivery Challans for all material dispatches and receipts. Perform periodic reconciliation to ensure zero unreconciled entries.
- Inventory Accuracy & Tracking: Be responsible for the accuracy and real-time tracking of all inventory currently in stock. Implement controls to prevent shrinkage, misplacement, or unauthorised movement.
- Safety Stock Management: Monitor and maintain safety stock levels across all critical items. Alert the procurement and operations team proactively when stock approaches reorder thresholds.
- Warehouse Management: Apply Warehouse Management (WH) principles to optimise storage layout, FIFO/FEFO compliance, and overall warehouse efficiency.
- Incoming Material Quality Check (QC): Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of all incoming materials against purchase orders and approved specifications before GRN posting. Reject or quarantine non-conforming items and raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) as required. QC should be done with the help of user departments
- Supplier Quality Documentation: Ensure all incoming materials are accompanied by required quality documents - including Test Certificates, Material Test Reports (MTRs), and Certificates of Conformance (CoC). Maintain a register of supplier quality documentation for traceability. Quality documents Should be as per PO terms
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-5 years of hands-on experience in store or warehouse operations in a manufacturing, trading, or logistics environment.
Strong working knowledge of GRN processes, GST, HSN codes, Credit Notes, Debit Notes, and Delivery Challans.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data reconciliation for inventory and invoice tracking.
Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, or equivalent).
Understanding of Warehouse Management principles including FIFO, space optimisation, and safety stock management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordination with finance, procurement, and vendor teams.
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
