We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our high-energy team

Having found exceptional product/market fit, we are now scaling up, and looking for DevOps Engineers to help us scale Visit Health.

You will have a direct impact on the systems design, network architecture, security vulnerabilities, compliances validation, AWS architecture best practices, and more. You'll work as part of a small but rapidly growing high-energy team delivering incredible, creative improvements to our product.

As part of your day-to-day work, you will

  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems
  • Provide, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code.
  • Setup/configure CI/CD pipeline leveraging AWS native services or traditional tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, SonarQube, etc)
  • Deploy applications on AWS platform leveraging AWS platform services like EC2, EBS, S3, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeArtifact etc
  • Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
  • Perform integration of security frameworks and tools for SAST, DAST, IAST, RASP etc.
  • Perform integration of various test automation frameworks and tools in the CI/CD pipelines
  • Respond to incidents, troubleshoot, resolve, and document.
  • Define and deploy systems for metrics and monitoring on the AWS platform, etc.
  • Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization.
  • Configure and manage Apache/Nginx Web Server
  • Configure and manage Confluent Kafka
  • Develop reusable assets for the DevOps related work
  • Perform Application containerization with Docker & Kubernetes (EKS)

Must Have's

  • 3 to 5 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, SG, IAM, ECS, Code Deploy, CloudFront, S3, SQS, RDS, AWS WAF, Load-Balancer, CloudWatch, Route53, Auto-Scaling)
  • Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, Linux environment and at least one scripting/programming language e.g., Python, Power shell / Bash
  • Experience with Git/Gitlab and SCM branching strategies.
  • Preferred experience with Infrastructure-as-Code e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, CloudFormation
  • Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration
  • Hands-on experience in building and handling VMs and containers utilizing tools like Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
  • Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools. Preferred knowledge of monitoring systems e.g., Prometheus, Splunk
  • JIRA, Confluence
  • Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewall.
  • Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, MongoDB.
  • Self-driven Individual contributor, who has the ability to drive discussions and suggestions on way forward
