Key Responsibilities
" Design and architect end-to-end big data solutions on AWS aligned with best practices.
" Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
" Lead implementation from design to production, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost optimization.
" Ensure data security, compliance, quality, and governance across data pipelines.
" Mentor data engineers and provide technical leadership.
" Troubleshoot and support production data platforms.
Required Skills
" Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: S3, Glue (Catalog, Crawlers), EMR, Redshift, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, IAM, SageMaker.
" Experience with Airflow, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
" Knowledge of Apache Spark / Hadoop and large-scale data transformations.
" Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
" Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket.
Qualifications
" Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
" Proven experience as a Solution Architect / Data Architect on AWS.
" Strong understanding of AWS security, encryption, and compliance best practices.
" Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
