Job Description:
Proficiency in Linux operating system (RedHat 6/7/ 8/9)
Should have hands on experience managing physical server and virtual servers hosted on ESX Host,UCS
Should have excellent troubleshooting skills.
Experience in managing NFS,CIFS, FTP/SFTP, NTP DNS servers.
Good to have experience on Red Hat
Good knowledge in Linux scripting to automate the daily operation required task.
Linux Package Patching Management RPM and Yum, DNF
Good to have experience on OS patching and post reboot troubleshooting
Experience building and configuring Linux servers (Physical, virtual).
Good knowledge of IPv4 networking and configuration
Troubleshooting file system and permission issues; Restoring corrupted file systems
Optimizing and monitoring the system performance with any provided tools or OS utilities like SAR, Top
Be responsible for all the operations during the shift and address the escalations.
RHEL OS upgrade using LEAPP
Good Knowledge on Ansible Automation Platform
Should have knowledge on Docker/Podman, and Git/Gitlab/Github
Should have knowledge of Service Now , Dynatrace tool.
Should be good in the ITIL process management like Incident, Request, Change and ServiceNow ticketing tool.
Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
Good documentation skills.
Should have a great customer handling skills
Can drive HCL's value and its methodology
