Role Overview

A Power Automate Developer works with Microsoft Power Automate (part of the Microsoft Power Platform) to design, build, and manage automated workflows that improve business efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated workflows (cloud flows, desktop flows)
• Integrate applications such as:
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Third-party apps (Salesforce, SAP, etc.)
• Use connectors (standard & premium) to automate processes
• Implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using Power Automate Desktop
• Handle data transformations and approvals workflows
• Monitor flows, troubleshoot errors, and optimize performance
• Implement governance, security, and best practices
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements
• Document workflows and provide training/support

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop flows)
• Strong understanding of:
  • Workflow automation concepts
  • API integrations (REST/SOAP)
• Experience with:
  • Expressions, conditions, loops
  • JSON and data handling
• Familiarity with:
  • Power Apps (basic level)
  • Power BI (optional but helpful)
• Knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem (Office 365, Azure basics)
• Problem-solving and debugging skills
