We're looking for an experienced Manual QA Tester to ensure software quality across web and mobile applications in banking, insurance, energy management, and smart home solutions.

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Manual QA Tester to ensure software quality across web and mobile applications in banking, insurance, energy management, and smart home solutions.
Important: This is a manual testing role. Automation experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Core Testing Activities
- Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for web and mobile applications
- Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and identify edge cases
Quality Assurance & Reporting
- Validate that applications meet business and user requirements
- Provide detailed test coverage and defect reports
- Monitor defect resolution and maintain quality metrics
- Understand basic performance testing concepts (load testing, stress testing, response times)
Collaboration
- Work closely with development, product, and UI/UX teams
- Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning sessions
- Communicate testing progress and quality concerns effectively
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of manual software testing experience
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies
- Proven experience with functional, regression, UI, and UAT testing
- Ability to write clear, structured test cases and execute comprehensive test plans
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello, etc.)
- Basic understanding of performance testing principles (load/stress testing concepts)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- API testing familiarity (Postman, Swagger)
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Domain knowledge in fintech, e-commerce, banking, or CRM applications
- Awareness of accessibility testing standards (WCAG)
- Basic understanding of security testing concepts
