About The Job:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Engineer with a strong background in JavaScript and React development.
- This is a senior engineer role requiring a blend of deep technical expertise, architectural insight, and leadership capabilities.
- Responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of complex, high-performance, and scalable enterprise-grade applications.
- Mentor junior team members, drive technical best practices, and contribute to technical strategy and roadmap.
- Hands-on role involving technical leadership, project oversight, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure applications using JavaScript and React.
- Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture).
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Drive technical innovation and evaluate new tools and technologies.
- Act as a subject matter expert in JavaScript and React ecosystems.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to development teams.
- Contribute to performance reviews and career development planning.
- Facilitate technical discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
Project Management & Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Assist in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and impediments.
Development & Operations
- Perform hands-on development of critical components and features.
- Ensure applications are scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable.
- Work with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Experience – 8 to 14 Years
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in software development with focus on Java and React.
JavaScript Ecosystem
- Expertise in JavaScript (ES8+) and React framework.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
Frontend Development
- Expertise in React.js, including Hooks, Context API, and state management (e.g., Redux).
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Cloud & DevOps
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional frontend or backend technologies (e.g., Python).
- Familiarity with TDD and BDD practices.
- Knowledge of application security best practices.
- Relevant certifications.
- Experience using agentic AI tools for software development (e.g., Devin AI).
