About The Job:

• Experience Required: 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• We are looking for a motivated Junior ServiceNow Developer with foundational knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.
• The role supports development, configuration, and maintenance activities.
• The candidate should have basic hands-on ServiceNow experience and willingness to learn.
• Work closely with senior developers, business analysts, and project teams.

Essential Job Functions:
Development and Configuration.

• Assist in developing and configuring ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Work on Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes.
• Support development of Service Catalog items, record producers, and workflows.

• Perform basic instance administration activities.
• Assist in data imports using transform maps and import sets.
• Support issue resolution and bug fixing.
• Participate in platform upgrades and release activities.

• Work with senior developers to understand requirements and technical designs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Learn and apply best practices for ServiceNow development.
• Document configurations and development work.

• Perform unit testing for developed features.
• Support QA and UAT cycles.
• Fix defects and ensure quality delivery.

Qualifications:
Education.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience.
• 1-2 years of experience on the ServiceNow platform.

• Basic understanding of ServiceNow platform.
• Knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals.
• Basic ServiceNow scripting knowledge.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes including Incident, Change, Problem.
• Understanding of tables, forms, fields, and relationships in ServiceNow.

• Exposure to Service Catalog, Flow Designer, or workflows.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and integrations.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodology.
• Exposure to Service Portal or UI Builder.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Preferred Certifications.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is good to have.
