About The Client:
A multinational technology and e-commerce company based in the United States is widely recognized as one of the world's largest online retailers. In addition to e-commerce, it is a major player in cloud computing through its cloud services division and has expanded into areas such as streaming services, artificial intelligence, and smart devices.
About The Job:
- Architecture and Migration Design and develop end to end data migration pipelines using AWS and client internal tools.
- Transition data from legacy CRM systems to Salesforce.
Essential Job Functions:
- Pipeline Engineering Build scalable pipelines for structured and unstructured data ensuring high performance for batch processing.
- Data Modeling Design and implement optimized data models within Redshift and Salesforce.
- Cross Functional Collaboration Partner with developers, engineers, and product managers to translate requirements into solutions.
- Operational Excellence Implement monitoring, data quality checks, and error handling for accurate migration.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering focusing on large scale migrations.
- Ability to write complex SQL and perform deep data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, and Lambda.
- Programming proficiency in Python or Java or Scala.
- Experience with ETL frameworks and legacy tools like Informatica and SSIS.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Loader and Bulk API.
- Experience designing data flows between AWS and Salesforce.
- Experience with QuickSight or Tableau for validation dashboards.
- Experience in reverse engineering legacy systems.
- Experience in building AI agents for code refactoring and migration.
