About The Job:

• Must have 2 to 3 years of functional domain experience and 6 to 8 years of working on the PP and QM module in SAP implementation projects or maintenance projects.
• Implementation experience should be in version 4.7 upwards.
• ECC 6 experience would be a plus.
• Must have Japanese proficiency.

Essential Job Functions:

• Hands-on experience in configuring and defining SAP QM module.
• QM in procurement including source inspection, vendor evaluation, and vendor selection.
• QM in logistics including incoming, in-process and outgoing inspections.
• Certificate of analysis.
• Sound experience in PP and QM processes.
• Quality control, notification, test equipment and SPC.
• Auditing.
• Batch management.
• Responsible for planning and executing SAP implementation, development and support activities related to SAP Production Planning.
• Ability to handle Production Planning processes.
• Understand client requirements, provide solutions, functional specifications and configure the system accordingly.
• Create presentation and workshop decks for Blueprint sessions and present them to the client.
• Create process flows using Microsoft Visio.
• Create Process Definition Document / Business Design Document and Business Process Procedure.
• Strong configuration hands-on experience in SAP QM module.
• Integration of QM module with SAP modules such as WM, PP, PM and external applications like LIMS.
• Integration of PP and QM module with other SAP modules and external applications.
• Unit Testing, Cycle Testing and Integration Testing.
• User Manual preparation and user support activities.
• Exposure to ASAP and other structured SAP implementation methodologies.
• Regular interaction with onsite team and client.
• Provide status updates in daily and weekly conference calls.
• Maintain cordial relationship with onsite team and client.
• Prepare test scripts and perform testing after upgrades.

Qualifications:

• Project preparation experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must be a good team player.
• Familiarity with document management system.
• Familiarity with engineering change management.
• Strong understanding of SAP PP and QM functional processes.
• Nice to have SAP certification on QM or PLM module.
• Experience using SAP Solution Manager.
• Worked on integration with SAP MM, WM, SD, PM and PP modules.
• Education: BE / MCA.
