Essential Job Functions:
Vulnerability Management.

  • Perform regular and ad-hoc vulnerability scans using Qualys and Prisma Cloud across on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Analyze vulnerability findings, validate results, and eliminate false positives.
  • Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, exploitability, and business impact.
  • Track remediation activities and ensure closure within defined SLAs.
Cloud & Infrastructure Security.
  • Manage vulnerability assessments for cloud workloads, VMs, containers, and Kubernetes platforms using Prisma Cloud.
  • Monitor and improve security posture for hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Support secure baseline configuration and hardening standards.
Middleware Security.
  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in middleware technologies including web servers, application servers, databases, and messaging platforms.
  • Work closely with middleware and application teams to implement security best practices.
Collaboration & Remediation.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, cloud, middleware, and DevOps teams to drive vulnerability remediation.
  • Provide actionable remediation guidance and technical recommendations.
  • Support patching cycles and configuration management efforts.
  • Assist with security incidents related to infrastructure vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience.
  • 4–7 Years.
  • Primary Skills.
    • Qualys, Prisma Cloud, Middleware Security.

Technical Skills.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Qualys Vulnerability Management (VM/VMDR).
  • Experience with Prisma Cloud (CSPM / Compute Security).
  • Solid understanding of middleware security and common vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Understanding of CVEs, CVSS scoring, and risk-based vulnerability prioritization.
  • Experience in enterprise infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
Tools & Technologies (Preferred).
  • SIEM tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar.
  • Ticketing tools such as ServiceNow and JIRA.
  • Patch and configuration tools such as SCCM, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
  • Containers including Docker and Kubernetes.
