Essential Job Functions:
Vulnerability Management.
- Perform regular and ad-hoc vulnerability scans using Qualys and Prisma Cloud across on-prem and cloud environments.
- Analyze vulnerability findings, validate results, and eliminate false positives.
- Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, exploitability, and business impact.
- Track remediation activities and ensure closure within defined SLAs.
- Manage vulnerability assessments for cloud workloads, VMs, containers, and Kubernetes platforms using Prisma Cloud.
- Monitor and improve security posture for hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Support secure baseline configuration and hardening standards.
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in middleware technologies including web servers, application servers, databases, and messaging platforms.
- Work closely with middleware and application teams to implement security best practices.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, cloud, middleware, and DevOps teams to drive vulnerability remediation.
- Provide actionable remediation guidance and technical recommendations.
- Support patching cycles and configuration management efforts.
- Assist with security incidents related to infrastructure vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
- Experience.
- 4–7 Years.

Primary Skills.
- Qualys, Prisma Cloud, Middleware Security.
Technical Skills.
- Strong hands-on experience with Qualys Vulnerability Management (VM/VMDR).
- Experience with Prisma Cloud (CSPM / Compute Security).
- Solid understanding of middleware security and common vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of CVEs, CVSS scoring, and risk-based vulnerability prioritization.
- Experience in enterprise infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
- SIEM tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar.
- Ticketing tools such as ServiceNow and JIRA.
- Patch and configuration tools such as SCCM, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
- Containers including Docker and Kubernetes.
