About The Job:
- Architect and evolve AWS landing zones, network, and security patterns for scale.
- Define and own the SRE architecture blueprint for AWS-based services (multi-account, multi-region patterns, landing zones, networking, security).
- Performing chaos engineering (Gremlin/Litmus) experiments for AWS services with AWS Fault Injection or with Azure Chaos Studio.
- Should be self-driven and should be setting up the experiments, running the experiments and capturing the results.
- Architect and evolve Observability: metrics (Prometheus/CloudWatch), logs (ELK/OpenSearch), and SLO dashboards (Grafana).
- Architect CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps/Jenkins) with progressive delivery (canary/blue green), automated rollbacks, and approvals.
- Partner with FinOps to design cost-efficient architectures (rightsizing, savings plans/reserved instances, autoscaling, storage classes).
- Mentor SREs/DevOps/Developers; lead architecture reviews, reliability workshops, and readiness assessments.
Essential Job Functions:
- Deep expertise with AWS core services: EC2, VPC, ALB/NLB, Route 53, IAM, S3, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, CloudWatch.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and automation in Python.
- Design multi-region HA/DR (RTO/RPO), backup and restore automation, and data replication strategies across multi-cloud environment.
- Lead incident response and blameless PIRs; drive systemic reliability improvements.
- Hands on experience in architecting and implementing Azure services in client environment.
- Good hands on experience in handling the GCP cloud foundation and administration.
- Acts as a technical SME for serious incidents and complex issues related to AWS.
- Assist in Migration from On-Prem to Cloud.
Qualifications:
- Exp-9-12 years
- Hands on experience in Chaos Engineering – Azure Chaos Studio, AWS Fault Injection (Mandate).
- Excellent hands on experience in AWS Cloud IaaS & PAAS services.
- SRE – Prometheus, Elk, Grafana, Gremlin, ADO, Azure Chaos Studio, AWS Fault Injection.
- Good Experience in Automation.
- Ansible.
- Terraform.
- Python.
- Hands on Experience in Azure, GCP services.
- Exposure to FinOps methodologies.
- Understanding of Palo Alto Firewall and Panorama.
- Preferred Certifications – AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer, Terraform Associate, Gremlin Certified Chaos Engineering Practitioner.
- Candidate should possess excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written).
- Excellent documentation skill.
- Should have great customer handling skills.
- Able to handle unforeseen situations.
