About The Job:

• Function: Project Oversight / Agile Delivery / Vendor Governance
• We are seeking a highly capable Scrum Master based in India to support oversight of client projects delivered through external vendors and cross functional client teams.
• This role plays a critical part in ensuring delivery partners are executing the right work, maintaining data quality, and identifying opportunities for delivery improvement.
• The Scrum Master will work closely with client stakeholders, internal teams, and vendors to drive execution discipline, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Essential Job Functions:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure Agile practices are understood and applied effectively across client and vendor teams.
• Track sprint progress, delivery commitments, dependencies, blockers, and risks.
• Promote transparency in planning, execution, and reporting across stakeholders.
• Monitor vendor delivery to ensure alignment with agreed scope, priorities, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Validate that vendors are delivering the correct backlog items aligned with client priorities.
• Identify delivery gaps, inefficiencies, and misalignment between planned and actual work.
• Proactively escalate concerns and support resolution of delivery performance issues.
• Review sprint metrics, delivery data, and reporting for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into delivery and vendor performance.
• Facilitate retrospectives and translate findings into actionable improvement items.
• Support implementation and tracking of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strengthen collaboration and communication between business, delivery, and vendor teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and delivery governance practices.
• Experience working with external vendors or third party delivery partners.
• Ability to assess delivery metrics, validate data quality, and support decision making.
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience working with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master are preferred.
