About The Job:
- As a Trade Compliance professional you are responsible for executing GTC processes, including import export classification under the Harmonized Tariff System.
- Acts as a key contact for internal stakeholders on customs procedures, duty optimization, origin determination, and regulatory compliance.
- Manages export controls, licensing, and due diligence for sanctioned or embargoed countries.

Essential Job Functions:
- Support Global Head of Trade in defining and enhancing Trade Compliance processes and systems.
- Trade compliance experience of 10+ years in international trade including import export and regional pharma or biopharma.
- FTA knowledge.
- Drive process improvements in SAP GTS, coordinating with IT on system changes.
- Provide guidance on tariff classification aligned with Harmonized Tariff System and regulations.
- Manage preferential and non-preferential origin including FTA calculations.
- Monitor trade regulation changes and implement compliance procedures.
- Handle license application and management.
- Maintain import export statistics for controlled products.
- Conduct due diligence for sanctioned or embargoed countries including screening and risk checks.
- Oversee customs procedures and identify duty optimization opportunities.
- Support customs valuation and trade compliance queries.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in international trade, import export operations, or trade compliance preferably in pharma environment.
- Educational background in Customs, Global Trade, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures and regulations.
- Proficiency in IT systems including SAP ERP and GTS and MS Office.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
