About The Job:
- We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure Cloud SME to join our IT team.
- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Promethius and cloud observability practices.
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining monitoring solutions.
- Ensure performance, availability, and reliability of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Exp: 9 to 12 years.
Essential Job Functions:
- Design and implement monitoring strategies using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Develop dashboards, alerts, and reports to monitor system health and performance.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Application teams to define KPIs and SLAs.
- Analyze telemetry data to identify trends and anomalies.
- Automate monitoring configurations using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Integrate monitoring tools with incident management platforms such as ServiceNow or PagerDuty.
- Provide recommendations for performance optimization and capacity planning.
- Conduct root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
- Stay updated with Azure best practices and updates.
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Qualifications.
- Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems with troubleshooting experience.
- Experience supporting Azure IaaS and PaaS environments.
- Knowledge of Azure services including IAM, Storage, Virtual Networks, and ExpressRoute.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, Microservices, and Distributed Systems.
- Experience with Kusto Query Language for telemetry data.
- Familiarity with ARM, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Knowledge of CI CD, DevOps practices, and ITIL processes.
- Experience integrating with Grafana, Power BI, or Prometheus is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect certifications.
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB and incident workflows.
