About The Job:

  • Head of Finance SSC.
  • End to end leadership of Finance Shared Services.
  • Assume full leadership and accountability for Finance Shared Services operations covering Record to Report, Order to Cash and Procure to Pay.
  • Ensure Finance Shared Services operates as a high performing and well governed global operation.
  • Lead, develop and retain a geographically distributed workforce.
  • Act as senior accountability point with Group Finance leadership and business stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence.
  • Introduce and embed Lean, Six Sigma, operational excellence frameworks and structured improvement methodologies.
  • Build capability in process thinking and data-driven decision making.
  • Establish KPIs, SLAs, service quality measures and improvement backlogs.
  • Drive improvements in timeliness, quality, accuracy, exception rates, cost to serve and control effectiveness.
  • Create culture where continuous improvement is embedded in BAU.
  • Leadership of Value Stream SMEs.
  • Provide leadership to R2R, O2C and P2P streams.
  • Ensure uplift of operational capability using automation, analytics and AI.
  • Improve reconciliation quality, reduce manual journals and strengthen controls.
  • Support future state design with automation-first and data-driven solutions.
  • Resolve cross-stream dependencies and optimise outcomes.
  • Back Office Modernisation.
  • Act as operational authority for modernisation program.
  • Ensure processes are fit for shared services and align with adopt not adapt principles.
  • Lead transition readiness including people, process and change management.
  • Ensure safe transition to ERP and operating model.
  • Stakeholder Leadership and Governance.
  • Build relationships with finance leaders, auditors and stakeholders.
  • Provide reporting on performance, compliance, audit findings, risks and improvement progress.
  • Ensure statutory compliance and consistent accounting practices.
  • Represent Finance SSC in governance forums and decision-making.
  • Value Creation Lead R2R.
  • Establish baseline for accounting, reconciliations and reporting processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies, duplication and control gaps.
  • Improve close timeliness, reconciliation quality, journal accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Strengthen governance of master data and accounting rules.
  • Support future design aligned to modern ERP and automation.
  • Support transition and adoption activities.
  • Value Creation Lead P2P.
  • Baseline P2P performance including requisition, purchase orders and invoice processing.
  • Identify bottlenecks and control gaps.
  • Drive improvements in cycle time, compliance and supplier experience.
  • Improve procurement and finance integration.
  • Support future design and centralisation strategy.
  • Lead transition readiness including training and hypercare.
  • Value Creation Lead O2C.
  • Diagnose O2C constraints including billing timeliness and receivables.
  • Improve DSO, cash application, billing accuracy and dispute handling.
  • Reduce manual processing and improve controls.
  • Support ERP design for receivables automation and centralisation.
  • Define service catalogue, SLAs and operating model.
  • Support transition, training and post go-live adoption.

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership experience in Finance Shared Services operations.
  • Experience across R2R, O2C and P2P processes.
  • Expertise in continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Experience in ERP transformation and shared services transition.
  • Strong governance, compliance and stakeholder management capability.
  • Ability to drive operational excellence and large-scale transformation programs.
