About The Job:
- Seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to support, enhance, and customize enterprise applications integrated with Oracle E Business Suite (EBS R12.x).
- The role focuses on complex customizations, performance optimization, and deep technical troubleshooting, along with designing and maintaining integrations between APEX, EBS, and external systems.
- The candidate will act as an Escalation point for production issues and enhancement requests.
Application Support & Enhancements
- Act as Level 3 escalation for Oracle APEX applications integrated with Oracle EBS.
- Perform root cause analysis of complex production issues across APEX, PL/SQL, and EBS custom components (CEMLIs).
- Design and implement minor to medium enhancements and configuration changes as part of adaptive maintenance.
- Ensure fixes and enhancements comply with existing EBS security, data model, and performance standards.
- Design, develop, and enhance Oracle APEX applications used as custom front ends or reporting layers for Oracle EBS.
- Implement interactive reports, dashboards, forms, and workflows in APEX.
- Optimize APEX application performance, SQL queries, and PL/SQL code.
- Ensure secure authentication and authorization, including EBS FND security / SSO integration where applicable.

Develop and maintain integrations between APEX and Oracle EBS using:
- PL/SQL APIs
- Standard EBS tables, views, and interfaces
- REST/SOAP web services (inbound/outbound)
- Work with EBS modules such as Finance, SCM, HR, Manufacturing, or Property Manager, depending on business needs.
- Support data extraction, validation, and reporting from EBS into APEX applications.
- Perform impact analysis for enhancements and bug fixes.
- Prepare and maintain technical design documents, code walkthroughs, and deployment notes.
- Support UAT, production deployments, and post go live validation.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, DBAs, and infrastructure teams.
- Provide technical guidance to L1/L2 support teams.
- Participate in change management, release planning, and knowledge transfer activities.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Oracle APEX (18.x or higher preferred)
- Advanced PL/SQL, SQL, performance tuning
- Solid hands on experience with Oracle E Business Suite R12.x
- Experience integrating APEX with EBS (custom APIs, interfaces, or reporting)
- Understanding of EBS security model (FND_USER, responsibilities, menus)
- Experience in support / AMS / production environments
- REST / SOAP Web Services
- JSON / XML handling in PL/SQL
- Exposure to middleware or APIs (OIC, custom REST layers – optional)
- Unix/Linux basics and deployment support
- 8–12+ years overall Oracle experience
- 6–8+ years hands on Oracle APEX
- Proven experience in support and enhancements
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Experience working in a 24x7 or enterprise support environment
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and escalate issues effectively.
- Knowledge is ITIL is must.
